Chickenpox, Finals, Etc. 10:41 AM

So I've had chickenpox lately, which has hindered me from doing a lot of things (blogging and studying for finals included.) With finals coming next week, all of my time now is being dedicated to studying for them, but after they are done, expect a big post with lots of Anthro and J. Crew, and Modcloth reviews. :)

Outfits Inspired By: Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) from Glee 12:55 AM

My favorite new show? Glee, hands down. I am so addicted to this show that not only do I watch it every Wednesday, but I download the episodes and songs on iTunes afterwards. And lately, after having become quite enamored with Emma's wardrobe, I have also spent some free time browsing for different outfits that I think fit right in with her style. Glee airs on Wednesdays at 9pm. Watch Glee on Fox!

Monday: More Anthropologie! 8:50 PM

Tomorrow after my biology lab, I fully intend to walk to the Anthro downtown near campus and pick a few things up. Maybe I'll even post a review! Until then, though, here are some things I've been eying online. I would totally just buy them on the website, but I sorta hate getting clothing in the mail wrapped in plastic. So much more fun to just go into the store. ;p

This one is ONLY available online. UGH! Anthro, why do you want me to be an anti-social hermit?

I absolutely must have this! It's so sleek, and adorable, and lovely! Totally reminds me of Jackie Kennedy, whose conservative fashion style I love.

So, I used to own about a million handbags (pretty accurate estimate) but sadly, I had to majorly consolidate my collection to fund various projects. Now, I have only one handbag (sad face)...the Black Denim Neo Cabby MM by Louis Vuitton. It's pretty awesome, and versatile, but the inside is bright yellow, and I haven't been able to find anything yellowish to match. I LOVE this card holder, and it would totally go with my (one) handbag.

Super Adorable Anthro Goodness 10:04 PM

On weekends, and sometimes during the week, I love to slum it. I love lounging around, and being comfortable, and wearing baggy clothing. Even better when I can do these things and still look CUTE doing them! Enter the Kerria Hoodie by Johnny Was, and featured at Anthro. So adorable...so, so adorable. I NEED to have this!

Oh, really, American Eagle? 12:54 PM

So uhh...I avoid American Eagle like the plague. Well, it isn't just American Eagle. All those stores I shopped at in High School (Abercrombie, Hollister, AE, etc., etc.)...I try to stay away from them. I feel like I've definitely hit an age (Almost 25 now, ugh) where I am no longer allowed to wear anything with a flat-out logo on it...and every time I go into one of these stores, I just feel silly. But umm...today I *may* have wandered over to AE.com, and I *may* have found a super cute little cami.

Am I crazy to want this? Am I regressing to my high school days?!

Little Treasures at Ruche 12:39 PM

Now that I've just posted the contest ShopRuche.com is having, I suppose I may as well post some of the super cute stuff I found at their site. If they had any of this stuff in a size small, I'd go broke in minutes. Enjoy!

This dress is so wonderfully adorable! Totally Hepburn-esque, and the details are lovely. Plus, it's a steal at $54.99.

It's only left in a size Large, but it's $34.99, and would look super cute with a cardi and some heels.

At $38.99, I'm tempted to get this in a Medium, and alter it myself to make it fit me. This dress is charming and fun...it reminds me of the state fair! Would me beautiful in the summer, or paired up with a navy blue cardi and boots for colder weather.

Again, it's in Large only, but it's so cute that I hope someone snatches it up. I can see it paired with a white or cream cardi and a cute belt. <3

In summary...Ruche, restock your small items! >< And those of you who see items in your size, get some super cute stuff for pretty decent prices.

A Contest at Ruche! (Name the Cardi and Win It) 12:34 PM

I recently discovered ShopRuche.com, which is pretty much the cutest online vintage-y boutique ever. I basically want to buy every piece they sell, which is unfortunate for me, because they are sold out of almost everything in my size. Sigh. But anyhow...they are having a contest to name this pretty little cardigan (you name it, you win it.) My pick? "Harold and Mauve Cardigan." I'm such a sucker for the film "Harold and Maude"...it's basically my favorite movie ever made. Good luck!
